Old Navy Fall 2013 Preview Event

Summer is not even here yet but in the fashion world they are always ahead of schedule and one and two seasons ahead of the game! And Old Navy is no exception. I was invited to the Fall 2013 Collection Preview yesterday and it was so much fun. I love coming to events like these mostly because I love meeting new people and making new connections, new ideas, new inspirations and and mostly because I get to see the next season's collections before anyone else. You guys are going to love pretty much every.single.piece. From the women's clothing to the kids and of course the men's clothing. It was so well styled, I loved so many pieces and can't wait to style them myself this coming fall. The new collection is definitely much more detailed than what you are used to seeing. There were gorgeous prints and delicate jewel details on some pieces as well. I took a ton of photos, I hope you like them.

El verano ni acaba de llegar, pero en el mundo de la moda siempre estan adelantados. Caso en punto... el evento que asisti anoche de la coleccion de Old Navy para este Otono 2013. Me encanta venir a estos eventos no solo son divertidos pero tambien son buenas oportunidades de conocer a personas. Pero lo que mas me gusta es que puedo ver las colecciones de ropa antes que nadie! Les va a encantar toda la coleccion esta muy chic y con muchos detalles, desde estampados fabulosos hasta detalles de joyerias en algunas piezas. Tome muchas fotitos asi que espero que les guste.

Oh how fancy you are! The traditional cotton sweater with a very shiny accent. I think this was one of my favorite pieces, I want this in my closet. The gorgeous jeweled sweater will sure to make a statement.

I am one of those people that buys clothes and realizes a year later that it is in the closet. It is a very bad habit and well that was the case with this amazing hi-lo skirt that I bought at a little boutique in my local mall. I bought it literally last summer and just found it last week with tags and all. I was so happy to see this skirt, the color is perfect and the style is so calling for summer!

No se si es bueno o malo pero soy una de esas personas que compran ropa y se dan cuenta meses despues de que existe. Ese fue el caso con esta hermosa falda corta por delante y larga por atras. La compre en una boutique pequena de mi centro comercial local. Nunca me la he puesto, tiene todas las etiquetas y todo. El color es divino y el estilo es absolutamente perfecto para este verano!

As you may have noticed I love to have my hair down. Wild + free and mostly with soft curls... But I wanted to change it up a bit so I tied it back and added some gold accents to make this look super tropical and very summer fab! All the accessories are from my collection at Lola Blue, the closet - these gold pieces are a must have. I am not typically a hoop earring kind of girl but when selecting my merchandise I came across these and fell in love.

Como se pueden haber dado cuenta, me encanta tener mi pelo suelto y casi siempre con ondas suaves y muy bohemio. Pero quize cambiar el look un poquito este pasado fin de semana y me amarre el cabello a una simple colita y agregue accesorios dorados, incluyendo estas bellas argollas color oro. No soy el tipo de mujer que usa argollas pero cuando vi estas al escojer mi mercaderia, me encantaron! 

I am so glad I found this pretty skirt! I felt so wonderful in this outfit I even told my husband I wish I could wear it everyday, the flow of the skirt along the breezy evening was just perfection to me. It made me feel ubber feminine and elegant.

My Mother's Day Dress

Being a mommy is my best and most proud task, it is the most rewarding yet most difficult job in the world, in my opinion. The happiness is un-measurable but so are the worries. As a first time mom I constantly wonder if I am doing a good job or praying that my son is always healthy and happy. For mother's day I had an amazing Sunday, we had a fantastic lunch at home and just spent the evening with my amazing mom and all the moms in my family, nothing better for me than spending some family time. I am so honored to be able to celebrate this special day my beautiful mom and my adorable son.

Ser mama es mi maypr logro y de lo que mas estoy orgullosa. Mi hijo es mi vida y adoracion. Ser mama es el trabajo mas hermoso pero tambien mas dificil, en mi opinion. Como mama primeriza, siempre tengo preocupaciones de que si soy una buena mama y si es que estoy haciendo todo lo debido. Al igual que rezo a diario por la salud y felicidad de mi bebe. Me siento tan honrada de celebrar este lindo dia con mi mama y mi hermoso hijo. Tuve un bello domingo en familia y la pasamos muy lindo.

I am in LOVE with this dress, it is very house wife chic with a little bit of sex-appeal. I wanted to be conservative but still myself so I went with these colorful accessories.

Off White Everything

After spending some time with my boys on Saturday for a pre-Mother's day lunch, I had a baby shower to attend in the evening. I decided to go with a real simple dress for a chic and classy look. This dress originally came without a belt so I added a belt for a blouson look. And kept the accessories to a minimum by simply adding earrings and a cuff.

Despues de el almuerzo que tuve con mid dos amores, tuve que asistir a un baby shower. Quize estar comoda pero chic y un poquito elegante, por eso decidi vestirme de un color beige clarito. Le anadi una correa a el vestido para darle un poquito mas de silueta. Y me puso pocos accesorios, tan solo aretes y una pulsera.
